Natasha has made it back to St. Petersburg, Russia, trying to track down her sister, Vera, who is about to give birth to a highly coveted human/space-alien hybrid.Vera has been captured Papa Bear, Natasha’s former boss who betrayed her and hung her out to dry. Natasha meets with Petra, a fellow agent, who says she has information on Vera’s whereabouts. But before Natasha can get the information, things get sexy, chaotic, dangerous, bloody, and let’s just throw in a spaceship for good measure.
SEASON ONE RECAP
Previously, in Season One of Deep State Dossier:
Natasha and Vincent are agents of the Office of Anti-Villainy and Undisclosable Matters aka OAVUM. They are also hot for each other, but they had a falling out because, well, stuff happened. Anyway, one night, Natasha gets a phone call from her sister, Vera, who lives in Russia. Vera's
boyfriend has disappeared and she thinks the U.S. The government had something to do with it. Natasha thinks this is a stupid theory until Vera tells her that the boyfriend is an alien from another galaxy. That's when the shit hits the fan because the most powerful governments in the world know about Misha (that's the alien boyfriend's name) and they all want to get their hands on him, because, well, he's an alien. This is also when things get complicated. It turns out that Natasha is a double-agent for a secretive Russian agency who want her to track down Misha and get him to surrender to her because she's practically a sister-in-law to him. Okay, but Misha's is being held by the CIA or the Department of Defense or something like that, so Natasha needs Vincent's help but she absolutely cannot tell him that she's a double-agent. So she tells him a half-truth, which is that she needs help rescuing her sister's boyfriend who happens to be a space alien. He's cool with it because he still has a thing for Natasha and he's pretty bored with his job. Bunch of stuff happens in the Second Act, including the rekindling of Natasha and Vincent's relationship and their having hot sex in the back of a van by a lake in which a dinosaur named Amanda lives. They also finally track down Misha and rescue him. He happens to be a pretty cool guy and totally in love with Vera and Natasha can see why her sister fell for him.
No, not really. Because that's a nice ending, but a boring ending. So, cut to: Natasha finds out that her Russian boss, code-named Papa Bear, doesn't actually care about Misha. What he and the other governments really want is Misha's spaceship for the alien technology to use for their dastardly government deeds. Which means that when the spaceship is located, Misha becomes expendable aka dead. There's no way Natasha's going to let that happen. But then Papa Bear kidnaps Vera and tells Natasha to do her job... Or else. Also, Natasha is exposed as a double-agent. Long story short, Natasha tells Papa Bear and whoever else that's after the spaceship to go fuck themselves. Misha leads her to the spaceship so they can go save Vera. But then Misha gets shot and dies. But before he dies, Misha telepathically transfers his abilities to Natasha who can now fly the spaceship. But what happened to Vincent? Despite finding out that Natasha is a double-agent, he still wants to help her. But Natasha shoots him in the leg because he's already done enough for her and she does not want him to get into any more trouble or danger. And wounding him was the only way to stop him.
Anyway, Misha's dead and Vincent is bleeding in a parking lot of a roadside diner, and the world's most powerful governments are all after Natasha and the spaceship. Does Natasha fly off into the sunset and go off-grid and hide until things blow over? Of course not. She points the spaceship toward St. Petersburg, Russia, where her sister was last seen, and flies there at Mach whatever. And she will do whatever to rescue her sister and to put a bullet or two or three into Papa Bear because revenge is awesome.
So, welcome to Season Two of--
Wait a second. I almost forgot to remind you of the most important part: Vera is knocked up, preggers, with child. And, yes, Misha is the baby daddy.
This changes everything...
Welcome to Season Two of Deep State Dossier.
Season 2. Episode 2. Green and Sort of Scaly but Also Kind of Cute
Having been wounded by a gunshot, Natasha tracks down an old acquaintance from the secret Russian agency, someone who knows his way around extracting a bullet from the body. Fittingly, his name is “Doc.” Doc has heard about Natasha’s sister and her being pregnant with a human/alien hybrid. Natasha tries to get Doc to help find her sister but he tells her that his long-retired and doesn’t need that kind of drama. It’s just too much heat. Natasha is about to give up trying to convince him, but then she stumbles upon a deep, dark secret of Doc’s that blows her mind.
Season 2. Episode 3. The Rubble Formerly Known as the Penthouse
Having found out that Doc has a lizard-person wife and is harboring other fugitive lizard people, Natasha blackmails Doc into helping her track down her sister, Vera, in exchange for not ratting him out. Doc agrees to help Natasha and he knows where they’re keeping her sister captive. But the location will be well-guarded and so Doc volunteers his lizard people to form a small army to help rescue Vera. When they reach the destination, though, there is quite a nasty surprise waiting for them.

Payments and Billing.
Paid Services. Certain of our Services may be subject to payments now and in the future (the “Paid Services”). Please see our FAQ page https://gimletmedia.com/faq/ for a description of the current Paid Services. Please note that any payment terms presented to you in the process of using or signing up for a Paid Service are deemed part of this Agreement.
Billing. We use a third-party payment processor (the “Payment Processor”) to bill you through a payment account linked to your Account on the Services (your “Billing Account”) for use of the Paid Services. The processing of payments will be subject to the terms, conditions and privacy policies of the Payment Processor in addition to this Agreement. We are not responsible for errors by the Payment Processor. By choosing to use Paid Services, you agree to pay us, through the Payment Processor, all charges at the prices then in effect for any use of such Paid Services in accordance with the applicable payment terms and you authorize us, through the Payment Processor, to charge your chosen payment provider (your “Payment Method”). You agree to make payment using that selected Payment Method. We reserve the right to correct any errors or mistakes that it makes even if it has already requested or received payment.
Payment Method. The terms of your payment will be based on your Payment Method and may be determined by agreements between you and the financial institution, credit card issuer or other providers of your chosen Payment Method. If we, through the Payment Processor, do not receive payment from you, you agree to pay all amounts due on your Billing Account upon demand.
Recurring Billing. The Paid Services may consist of an initial period, for which there is a one-time charge, followed by recurring period charges as agreed to by you. By choosing a recurring payment plan, you acknowledge that such Services have an initial and recurring payment feature and you accept responsibility for all recurring charges prior to cancellation. WE MAY SUBMIT PERIODIC CHARGES (E.G., MONTHLY) WITHOUT FURTHER AUTHORIZATION FROM YOU UNTIL YOU PROVIDE PRIOR NOTICE (RECEIPT OF WHICH IS CONFIRMED BY US) THAT YOU HAVE TERMINATED THIS AUTHORIZATION OR WISH TO CHANGE YOUR PAYMENT METHOD. SUCH NOTICE WILL NOT AFFECT CHARGES SUBMITTED BEFORE WE REASONABLY COULD ACT. TO TERMINATE YOUR AUTHORIZATION OR CHANGE YOUR PAYMENT METHOD, EMAIL MEMBERS@GIMLETMEDIA.COM.
Current Information Required. YOU MUST PROVIDE CURRENT, COMPLETE AND ACCURATE INFORMATION FOR YOUR BILLING ACCOUNT. YOU MUST PROMPTLY UPDATE ALL INFORMATION TO KEEP YOUR BILLING ACCOUNT CURRENT, COMPLETE AND ACCURATE (SUCH AS A CHANGE IN BILLING ADDRESS, CREDIT CARD NUMBER, OR CREDIT CARD EXPIRATION DATE), AND YOU MUST PROMPTLY NOTIFY US OR OUR PAYMENT PROCESSOR IF YOUR PAYMENT METHOD IS CANCELED (E.G., FOR LOSS OR THEFT) OR IF YOU BECOME AWARE OF A POTENTIAL BREACH OF SECURITY, SUCH AS THE UNAUTHORIZED DISCLOSURE OR USE OF YOUR USER NAME OR PASSWORD. CHANGES TO SUCH INFORMATION CAN BE MADE BY EMAILING MEMBERS@GIMLETMEDIA.COM. IF YOU FAIL TO PROVIDE ANY OF THE FOREGOING INFORMATION, YOU AGREE THAT WE MAY CONTINUE CHARGING YOU FOR ANY USE OF PAID SERVICES UNDER YOUR BILLING ACCOUNT UNLESS YOU HAVE TERMINATED YOUR PAID SERVICES AS SET FORTH ABOVE.
Change in Amount Authorized. If the amount to be charged to your Billing Account varies from the amount you preauthorized (other than due to the imposition or change in the amount of state sales taxes), you have the right to receive, and we shall provide, a notice of the amount to be charged and the date of the charge before the scheduled date of the transaction. Any agreement you have with your payment provider will govern your use of your Payment Method. You agree that we may accumulate charges incurred and submit them as one or more aggregate charges during or at the end of each billing cycle.
Auto-Renewal for Subscription Services. Unless you opt-out of auto-renewal, which can be done through a link in your profile, any Subscription Services you have signed up for will be automatically extended for successive renewal periods of the same duration as the subscription term originally selected, at the then-current non-promotional rate. To change or resign your Subscription Services at any time, go to your profile. If you terminate a Subscription Service, you may use your subscription until the end of your then-current term; your subscription will not be renewed after your then-current term expires. However, you won't be eligible for a prorated refund of any portion of the subscription fee paid for the then-current subscription period.
Reaffirmation of Authorization. Your non-termination or continued use of a Paid Service reaffirms that we are authorized to charge your Payment Method for that Paid Service. We may submit those charges for payment and you will be responsible for such charges. This does not waive our right to seek payment directly from you. Your charges may be payable in advance, in arrears, per usage, or as otherwise described when you initially selected to use the Paid Service.
Free Trials and Other Promotions. Any free trial or other promotion that provides access to a Paid Service must be used within the specified time of the trial. You must stop using a Paid Service before the end of the trial period in order to avoid being charged for that Paid Service. If you cancel prior to the end of the trial period and are inadvertently charged for a Paid Service, please contact us at email@example.com. Unless otherwise specified, trial offers are one-time only for new members and are limited to one per household. Additional terms and limitations may apply to trial offers and promotions and will be more fully explained at the time you sign up. Any such additional terms and limitations are deemed part of this Agreement.
Termination. We may terminate your access to all or any part of the Services at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice, effective immediately, which may result in the forfeiture and destruction of all information associated with your membership. If you wish to terminate your Account, you may do so by following the instructions on the Site or through the Services. Any fees paid hereunder are non-refundable. All provisions of these Terms of Service which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, licenses of User Content, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity and limitations of liability.

Arbitration. YOU AGREE THAT ALL DISPUTES BETWEEN YOU AND US (WHETHER OR NOT SUCH DISPUTE INVOLVES A THIRD PARTY) WITH REGARD TO YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH US, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION DISPUTES RELATED TO THESE TERMS OF SERVICE, YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES, AND/OR RIGHTS OF PRIVACY AND/OR PUBLICITY, WILL BE RESOLVED BY BINDING, INDIVIDUAL ARBITRATION UNDER THE AMERICAN ARBITRATION ASSOCIATION'S RULES FOR ARBITRATION OF CONSUMER- RELATED DISPUTES AND YOU AND WE HEREBY EXPRESSLY WAIVE TRIAL BY JURY; PROVIDED, HOWEVER, THAT TO THE EXTENT THAT YOU HAVE IN ANY MANNER VIOLATED OR THREATENED TO VIOLATE OUR INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS, WE MAY SEEK INJUNCTIVE OR OTHER APPROPRIATE RELIEF IN ANY STATE OR FEDERAL COURT IN THE STATE OF NEW YORK. DISCOVERY AND RIGHTS TO APPEAL IN ARBITRATION ARE GENERALLY MORE LIMITED THAN IN A LAWSUIT, AND OTHER RIGHTS THAT YOU AND WE WOULD HAVE IN COURT MAY NOT BE AVAILABLE IN ARBITRATION. As an alternative, you may bring your claim in your local “small claims” court, if permitted by that small claims court's rules and if within such court’s jurisdiction, unless such action is transferred, removed or appealed to a different court. You may bring claims only on your own behalf. Neither you nor we will participate in a class action or class-wide arbitration for any claims covered by this agreement to arbitrate. YOU ARE GIVING UP YOUR RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE AS A CLASS REPRESENTATIVE OR CLASS MEMBER ON ANY CLASS CLAIM YOU MAY HAVE AGAINST US INCLUDING ANY RIGHT TO CLASS ARBITRATION OR ANY CONSOLIDATION OF INDIVIDUAL ARBITRATIONS. You also agree not to participate in claims brought in a private attorney general or representative capacity, or consolidated claims involving another person's account, if we are a party to the proceeding. This dispute resolution provision will be governed by the Federal Arbitration Act and not by any state law concerning arbitration. In the event the American Arbitration Association is unwilling or unable to set a hearing date within one hundred and sixty (160) days of filing the case, then either we or you can elect to have the arbitration administered instead by the Judicial Arbitration and Mediation Services. Judgment on the award rendered by the arbitrator may be entered in any court having competent jurisdiction. Any provision of applicable law notwithstanding, the arbitrator will not have the authority to award damages, remedies or awards that conflict with these Terms of Service. You agree that regardless of any statute or law to the contrary, any claim or cause of action arising out of, related to or connected with the use of the Services or these Terms of Services must be filed within one (1) year after such claim of action arose or be forever banned.
Severability. If the prohibition against class actions and other claims brought on behalf of third parties contained above are found to be unenforceable, then all of the preceding languages in this Arbitration section will be null and void. This arbitration agreement will survive the termination of your relationship with us.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction. These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, including its conflicts of law rules, and the United States of America. You agree that any dispute arising from or relating to the subject matter of these Terms of Service shall be governed by the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts of California, California.

We may also impose limits on certain features and services or restrict your access to parts or all of the Services without notice or liability. While we will timely provide notice of modifications, it is also your responsibility to check these Terms of Service periodically for changes. Your continued use of the Services following notification of any changes to these Terms of Service constitutes acceptance of those changes, which will apply to your continued use of the Services going forward. Your use of the Services is subject to the Terms of Service in effect at the time of such use.
Entire Agreement and Severability. These Terms of Service are the entire agreement between you and us with respect to the Services, including use of the Site, and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals (whether oral, written or electronic) between you and us with respect to the Services. If any provision of these Terms of Service is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms of Service will otherwise remain in full force and effect and enforceable. The failure of either party to exercise in any respect any right provided for herein shall not be deemed a waiver of any further rights hereunder
Force Majeure. We shall not be liable for any failure to perform our obligations hereunder where such failure results from any cause beyond our reasonable control, including, without limitation, mechanical, electronic or communications failure or degradation.
Assignment. These Terms of Service are personal to you, and are not assignable, transferable or sublicensable by you except with our prior written consent. We may assign, transfer or delegate any of our rights and obligations hereunder without consent.
Agency. No agency, partnership, joint venture, or employment relationship is created as a result of these Terms of Service and neither party has any authority of any kind to bind the other in any respect.
Notices. Unless otherwise specified in these Term of Service, all notices under these Terms of Service will be in writing and will be deemed to have been duly given when received, if personally delivered or sent by certified or registered mail, return receipt requested; when receipt is electronically confirmed, if transmitted by facsimile or e-mail; or the day after it is sent, if sent for next day delivery by recognized overnight delivery service. Electronic notices should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org.
No Waiver. Our failure to enforce any part of these Terms of Service shall not constitute a waiver of our right to later enforce that or any other part of these Terms of Service. Waiver of compliance in any particular instance does not mean that we will waive compliance in the future. In order for any waiver of compliance with these Terms of Service to be binding, we must provide you with written notice of such waiver through one of our authorized representatives.

IP Address Information and Other Information Collected Automatically:
We automatically receive and record information from your web browser when you interact with the Services, including your IP address and cookie information. This information is used for fighting spam/malware and also to facilitate the collection of data concerning your interaction with the Services (e.g., what links you have clicked on).
Generally, the Services automatically collect usage information, such as the number and frequency of visitors to the Site. We may use this data in aggregate form, that is, as a statistical measure, but not in a manner that would identify you personally. This type of aggregate data enables us and third parties authorized by us to figure out how often individuals use parts of the Services so that we can analyze and improve them. Email Communications:
We may receive a confirmation when you open an email from us. We use this confirmation to improve our customer service.
Information Collected Using Cookies:
Most browsers have an option for turning off the cookie feature, which will prevent your browser from accepting new cookies, as well as (depending on the sophistication of your browser software) allowing you to decide on acceptance of each new cookie in a variety of ways. We strongly recommend that you leave cookies active because they enable you to take advantage of the most attractive features of the Services.
Information Related to Advertising:
To support and enhance the Services, we may now or in the future serve advertisements, and also allow third parties advertisements, through the Site or other Services. These advertisements are sometimes targeted and served to particular users and may come from third party companies called “ad networks.” Ad networks include third-party ad servers, ad agencies, ad technology vendors and research firms.
Advertisements served through the Services may be targeted to users who fit a certain general profile category and may be based on anonymized information inferred from information provided to us by a user, including Personal Information (e.g., gender or age), may be based on the Services usage patterns of particular users, or may be based on your activity on Third Party Services. We do not provide Personal Information to any ad networks for use outside of the Services.
We collect statistical information about how both unregistered and registered users, collectively, use the Services (“Aggregate Information”). Some of this information is derived from Personal Information. This statistical information is not Personal Information and cannot be tied back to you, your Account or your web browser.
